1. Class Period: June 23, 2026 (Tue) ~ July 20, 2026 (Mon) <Classes are held 4 days a week (Mon–Thu)>
Some foreign language courses at the Seoul Campus are conducted 5 days a week

 

2. Tuition: 1 credit: 107,900 won/2 credits: 215,800 won/3 credits: 323,700 won

4. Course Registration

a. Eligibility: Current students, students on leave of absence, and exchange students from other universities

b. Method: Access the course registration system (http://sugang.korea.ac.kr)

c. Login Information

1)          KU students: Student ID + KUPID password

2)          Exchange students: Temporary student ID + last 7 digits of Resident Registration Number

d. Course Opening Criteria: In accordance with Chapter 4 (Course Cancellation) of the Detailed Regulations on Curriculum Organization and Operation

e. Credits & Grading

1)         Up to a total of 9 credits may be earned in accordance with Article 49, Paragraph 1 of the Academic Operation Regulations (including the International Summer and Winter Programs)

2)         Grades are recorded separately as Summer Term’ but included in the overall GPA

3)         Students on leave cannot graduate immediately after completing a summer/winter session

4)         Important Notes:

-              Since students cannot preview classes before enrollment, refunds for personal reasons are not allowed. No course changes are permitted outside the official add/drop period

-              Field training courses: up to 18 credits (including seasonal sessions), physical education courses: up to 3 credits

-              If tuition is not paid, registration will be automatically canceled, which may lead to course cancellation. After the withdrawal period, no changes or cancellations are allowed.

-              Retaking courses offered at Sejong Campus (since Spring 2016) is allowed only once

f. If prerequisite courses are required, students must have completed them with confirmed grades before registering for subsequent courses.

If currently enrolled in a prerequisite course, you cannot register for the follow-up course during the summer session registration period.

g. Courses without finalized grades at the time of registration cannot be retaken during the summer term

 

5. Payment: Bank transfer via Hana Bank virtual account (separate account assigned per course)

 

6. Course Cancellation: To be announced on the portal on June 5 (Fri) (Students affected may re-register on June 10 (Wed))

 

7. Course Withdrawal & Refund Policy: If you wish to cancel your course registration after paying the tuition, refunds will be issued according to the cancellation period as outlined below.

(Cancellations cannot be withdrawn or modified outside the specified periods. Please note that the next-generation portal migration is scheduled during this cancellation period, so make sure to submit your cancellation request carefully.)

Weekend cancellations may be difficult to process in case of system errors; weekday applications are recommended
